PURPOSE: To make possible secure input operation at all times by easily judging whether or not the input load on an input pen used for the pressure sensing type tablet is proper. ;CONSTITUTION: The pen tip member 13 of the input pen is moved by a spring member 15 according to the input load. An electrode 16 for detection which constitutes a detecting means is provided at a specific position in a pen main body 14. When the electrode 16 for detection and the electrode 13a of the pen tip member 13 are brought into contact with each other, a current corresponding to a detection signal is generated and supplied to a display unit 18.
