PURPOSE: To enable the sternway of a hull to be made quickly even if a load to the hull or the situation of waves change, and also, enable any work on a nozzle for water jet to be achieved easily. ;CONSTITUTION: A hull is advanced by jetting water through a nozzle 28 toward the rear of the hull from the hull side. A reverse basket 48 is arranged in the rear of the nozzle 28, and this reverse basket 48 is pivoted to the hull side so that it may have freedom of up and down motion and rotation. The front of the reverse bucket 48 is made circularly recessed 49 in side view. This nozzle 28 is pivoted on the hull side so that the outlet end of the jet water 35 from the nozzle 28 may have freedom of up and down motion and rotation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
