ROTATION COMPENSATION DEVICE FOR CABLE OR THE LIKE WHICH IS WOUND ON AND UNWOUND FROM ROTARY DRUM

PURPOSE: To easily adjust drum revolving speed in accordance with an individually facing status by increasing revolving speed a drum can design designate by setting a spiral coil between a fixed cable and a cable to be wound on the drum. ;CONSTITUTION: This rotation compensation device 6 coaxial with a drum 2 is inserted between the drum 2 on which a cable 1 to be wound on and unwound from the drum 2 is wound and a fixed support body 4 having a fixed cable 5. Some of the intermediate cable pieces 5 wound coaxially and spirally in parallel with a fixed shaft 3 are stored in the device 6. Additionally, all these spirals are in the same winding direction, when some of the spirals are wound toward a peripheral edge from a center, the spirals following them are wound toward the center from the peripheral edge, a free end of the first spiral is fixed on the fixed shaft 3, a free end of the last spiral is interlocked with the drum 2, and each of the spirals is devised to selectively interlocked with each other when it loses its respective rotational performance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
