ARTIFICIAL AGGREGATE FOR ROAD PAVING HAVING AGGREGATED COARSE GRAIN STRUCTURE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To produce an artificial aggregate for road paving, without losing anti-skid effect on automobiles for a long period. ;CONSTITUTION: This artificial aggregate for road paving is obtained by bonding one or more mineral coarse grains constituting the same with one or more inorganic baked materials so as to have a volume ratio of the mineral coarse grains/the inorganic baked materials within a range of (70/30)-(90/10). This method for producing the artificial aggregate is to mix the mineral coarse grains with the inorganic baked materials and an auxiliary agent and uniformely apply the inorganic baked raw materials to the periphery of the mineral coarse grains and at the same time aggregate the mixture, and then intactly bake the aggregated material or further mold the aggregated material and thermally bake the resultant molding.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
