PLANTING BLOCK AND CONSTRUCTING METHOD THEREFOR, AND PROMOTING MATERIAL FOR GROWTH OF PLANT

PURPOSE:To promote the growth of plants, by a method wherein a front board formed almost at the same angle as an angle of the sun in summer and a retaining wall-side board with a definite angle are connected through connecting boards at each of which the top edge is lower than the upper edge of the front board and each of which has a recess part at the lower end thereof. CONSTITUTION:A front board 2 located almost at the same angle as an angle of the sun in summer and a retaining wall-side board 3 with a definite angle are connected through connecting boards 4 at each of which the top edge is slightly lower than the upper edge of the front board 2 and each of which has a connecting projection part 42 at the side of the retaining wall-side board 3 and has a recess part 41 at the lower end thereof, and thus a planting block 1 with planting parts 5 is formed. When the blocks 1 are constructed, the projection parts 42 of the block 1 each are fitted in the recess parts 41 of another block 1 at the upward side of the block 1, and these blocks 1 are progressively stacked, following which parts except the front boards 2 and except the top ends thereof are covered with soil.
