PURPOSE: To connect a PC(precast concrete) member and another concrete member with high strength, and to simplify connection operation. ;CONSTITUTION: An irregular-shaped steel pipe 1, to which a proper irregular pattern is formed for transmitting stress among the inner circumferential surface and outer circumferential surface of a steel pipe and reinforcing members adjoined and disposed to these inner and outer circumferential surfaces through concrete and mortar extending over approximately the whole of the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface is used as a lap joint member. The irregular-shaped steel pipe 1 for the joint is buried at the specified section of a PC member 3, at least one end section of the irregular-shaped steel pipe 1 is faced approximately to the surface section of the PC member 3, and an opening 6 connected to the hollow inside of the steel pipe 1 is formed to the surface section. The reinforcements of a concrete member mounted while being bonded with the PC member 3 with the irregular-shaped steel pipe joint are inserted into the irregular-shaped steel pipe 1 opened to the PC member 3 as a residual space in the irregular-shaped steel pipe 1 is filled with mortar 9.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
