By a measurement start key for a component mounting position input part 6, the X-Y robot 3 is moved to decided coordinates in the upper direction. The recognition jig 2 is imaged by the component recognition camera 4, it is shown on an image monitor 5, its image is taken into a recognition controller 9, and the central coordinates of the recognition jig 2 are found by coordinates for the component recognition camera. After that, the recognition jig 2 is moved to a coordinate position in which the lower direction, the left direction and the right direction have been decided, and respective central coordinates are found.
