DUST COLLECTOR AT EVEN EXIT ON PUSHING MACHINE SIDE OF COKE OVEN AND DUST-COLLECTING METHOD USING SAME

PURPOSE: To prevent dusting without fail and collect dust effectively by covering all the dusting spots of a pushing machine of a coke oven with an entirely covering collecting hood and installing a local dust-collecting system at every dusting spot. ;CONSTITUTION: Carbonization chambers 2a, 2b, and 2c are installed in a coke oven 1 and, when coke in chamber 2b is pushed out with a pushing ram 4, chamber 2a emptied by the previous pushing is charged with coking coal under leveling the coal with a leveler 5. Simultaneously the small lid of a leveling hole of chamber 2c which is to be emptied by the next pushing is cleaned. Together with an entirely covering dust-collecting hood 7 for covering all the dusting spots, a local dust-collecting system is installed at every dusting spot, such as a dust-collecting spot A above the exit, a dust-collecting spot B below the exit, a dust-collecting spot C at the leveling hole, a dust-collecting spot D at an oven-lid-cleaning machine, or a dust-collecting spot E at a small-lid- cleaning machine, in order to collect dust locally.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
