METHOD FOR CHARGING COKE INTO BELL-LESS TYPE BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE: To provide a method for charging cokes into a bell-less type blast furnace, in which the ratio of briquetted coke in the charged cokes can be heitened. ;CONSTITUTION: At the time of charging two kinds of cokes of oven coke 6 and the briquetted coke 7 into the blast furnace 5, firstly the briquetted coke 7 is charged into a furnace top bunker 3. After storing the oven coke 6 on this briquetted coke, the cokes are charged from the furnace wall side to the center in the furnace through a discharging swing chute 4 from the lower part of the furnace top bunker 3. By this method, without obstructing the gas ventilation and the liquid permeability in the furnace, the operation of the blast furnace is executed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
