PURPOSE: To communicate thawing information directly with a microwave oven via radio wave by forming thawing bar code in which output and time of microwaves necessary for individual frozen food are decided, and printing it directly on a package of the food by printing or sealing to be added. ;CONSTITUTION: A thawing bar code 6 of frozen food 4 is read by bringing it into contact with a bar code reading sensor 2, the food 4 is contained in a microwave oven 1, and its door is closed. Eventually, when a start key 3 is pressed, the oven 1 is automatically thawed via suitable output and necessary time. An electric board which receives the electric output and the time indicated by the code 6 and executes it is contained in the oven 1, or built in an adapter 5 connected to and used for the oven sold in the market. Accordingly, expensive purchase and expenditure can be deleted, and use of a narrow cooking place space can be avoided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
