UPGRADING SYSTEM FOR CORRUGATED CARDBOARD PRINTING MACHINE

PURPOSE: To eliminate intricacies in an operation which requires a high percentage of manual work in a corrugated cardboard printing step by using a four- stage change-over switch and its attached timing circuit in a controller, and causing the entire system to act on a corrugated cardboard printing machine under the control of system constituent equipment. ;CONSTITUTION: Two actuator-type passage operating valves 4a, 4b are arranged on the suction side of a pneumatically driven reciprocating pump 2 equipped with a pneumatic actuator-type check release mechanism 3. In addition, a flow speed detector 5 is mounted on piping for ink passage. On the other hand, a valve unit which feeds and stops an actuating air and selects an air volume in two stages at the time of air supply is incorporated. Further, a controller consisting of a four-stage change-over switch 1 equipped with a timing circuit and an alarm device 6, is arranged. The entire system is activated by the activation order of system constituent equipment which is executed by the selective action of the four-stage change-over switch 1. A check valve 8 is allowed to be present between the pump 2 and each passage operating valve 4a, 4b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
