摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain a polymer having π conjugated bonds in the main chain, which can exhibit excellent conductivity and optical response as well as excellent heat resistance and chemical stability, is easily moldable because of its high solubility in an organic solvent, and is extensively used as a general-purpose functional material. ;CONSTITUTION: A dihalobiphenyl and diethynylbenzene are subjected to a coupling reaction through dehydrohalogenation in the presence of a palladium- copper catalyst and an amine to obtain the objective polymer represented by the formula.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
