DATA COLLECTING METHOD IN DISTRIBUTED COMPUTER SYSTEM FOR INSTRUMENTATION

PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of data drop-out by incorporating the program, which temporarily saves operation information data and the date in a control computer, and the program which extracts only data required as a fixed time to store it in a management computer. ;CONSTITUTION: An instrumentation system consists of a control computer 1, a management computer 2, and an auxiliary storage device 3. When an operation information collection timing occurs on the side of the control computer 1, operation information formation batch data 4 is stored in the case of the oldest date out of n cases when being stored in a temporary save table 5 together with the date of the month, the day, hours, and minuites. The management computer 2 detects the fixed time to collect all cases of the temporary save table 5 and extracts only data required as the fixed time out of collected data to generate a data table 7 and stores it in the auxiliary storage device 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
