THRESHOLD STEP REPORTING DEVICE AND DOOR CLOSURE REPORTING DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

PURPOSE: To provide a threshold step reporting device and a door l closure reporting device for an elevator reporting the occurrence of a threshold step and the start of a door closing action and capable of arousing the attention of a user. ;CONSTITUTION: A lighting system 10 is fitted to an apron 4 at a position under a car side threshold 1. Multiple light emitting diodes having the luminescent colors of blue and red are arranged on the lighting system 10. A light receiving element 12 and a light emitting element 14 are fitted at opposite positions of the apron 4 and a toe guard 8. The light from the light emitting element 14 is received by the light receiving element 12 to detect a threshold step. The lighting system 10 is driven by a control device depending on the presence of the threshold step, the groove 2 of the car side threshold 1 is illuminated in blue when no step exists, and it is illuminated in red when a step exists.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
