PURPOSE: To obtain an emulsifying dispersion agent for a rosin-based sizing agent having improved sizing effect, freeze reconstitution property and storage stability and obtain a sizing agent produced by using the dispersion agent. ;CONSTITUTION: This emulsifying dispersion agent for a resin-based sizing agent is an emulsion of a copolymer containing 15-35wt.% of styrene, 65-85wt.% of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid and 0-40wt.% of a copolymerizable monomer or their salts. This rosin-based sizing agent contains a rosin substance and a dispersion agent and is produced by using the emulsifying dispersion agent as the dispersion agent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
