PURPOSE: To provide a remote control device for an air conditioning system in which the operation of a plurality of main bodies of air conditioners can be controlled for every controlling function and grouping of main bodies of the air conditioners can be easily carried out. ;CONSTITUTION: A setting input means 112 sets operation control information of a plurality of main bodies 101 to 108 of air conditioners. A control function setting input means 113 sets control function information for a plurality of main bodies 101 to 108 of air conditioners. A micro-computer 117 receives the input of the control function setting input means 113 and then target addresses of a plurality of main bodies 101 to 108 of air conditioners classified for control function information such as a starting/stopping, operation mode, a temperature setting and an air speed setting or the like are stored in a memory means 116 in response to this received input. In addition, the micro-computer 117 receives the input of the setting input means 112 and outputs operation control information for the main bodies 101 to 108 of the control target in response to the information stored in the memory means 116 as well as the received input.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
