PURPOSE: To obtain the electrodeposition bath by adding a complex-forming agent and a brightener such as alkenesulfonate to an electrodeposition bath containing prescribed amounts of copper cyanide, alkali stannate, zinc cyanide, alkali metal cyanide, etc. ;CONSTITUTION: The cyanidic-alkaline bath has a composition composed essentially of (1 to 60) g/L copper cyanide (as copper), (1 to 50) g/L alkali stannate (as tin), (0 to 10) g/L zinc cyanide (as zinc), (0.1 to 200) g/L complex-forming agent, (1 to 100) g/L free alkali metal cyanide, (1 to 50) g/L free alkali metal hydroxide, (0 to 50) g/L alkali metal carbonate, and (0 to 100) mg/L lead acetate or lead sulfonate (as lead). A complex-forming agent in an amount of (1 to 200) g/L, composed of oligosaccharide and/or polysaccharide, is incorporated into the bath, and further, (0.01 to 5) g/L of brightener selected from alkenesulfonate, alkylenesulfonate, pyridinium compound, sulfur-containing propanesulfonate, etc., is incorporated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
