METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR CONDUCTING OBJECT TYPE OF OBJECT FOR APPLICATION AND OBTAINING OBJECT TYPE ATTRIBUTE VALUE OF EFFERENT OBJECT TYPE

PURPOSE: To derive an object type and to provide the attributer value of the derived object type of an application. CONSTITUTION: In a computer system where the application and data are executed by an object-oriented method, the object type and the derived attribute are stored as items in tables 62, 66 and 70 having identifiers. The attribute value having the identifier corresponding to the object type is stored in tables 64, 68 and 72 as the item. Object type derivation manager 56 and an attribute value acquirement manager 58, which correspond to the two tables, derive the object types and acquire the attribute values. A row acquirement interface routine 52 and a column acquirement routine 54 call the function of the object type derivation manager 56 and the function of the attribute value acquirement manager 58. When object type table identifiers, the derived attributes, the attribute table identifiers and the attribute identifiers are received from the application, the type is derived to the application and the attribute values can be obtained.
