AREA LIVING PERSON AID INFORMATION SERVICE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To realize a human communication function rich in communication by providing a multi-purpose information service means in the system. ;CONSTITUTION: A person 21 living in an area makes a phone call to an area living person aid information service system center by a telephone set 16. Then a counselor 9 of the center uses a telephone set 13 to accept the phone call and selects the information required by the person 21 during the phone talking. When the information desired by the person 21 is served by a voice reply system 11, the counselor 9 switches the processing to the voice reply system 11 and the person 21 hears the desired information through a tape. Furthermore, the counselor/except 9 retrieves a living information database in a large capacity external storage device 3 via a display device 6 as an aid means to reply the phone inquiry and serves proper information to the person 21 based on the result of retrieval.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
