FAX INFORMATION TRANSMITTING METHOD AND FAX INFORMATION TRANSMITTER USED IN THE SAME

PURPOSE:To receive FAX information only by a person provided with a password number decided in advance by originating a call to the FAX number of a transmission destination, expediting the input of the password number to the transmission destination, and transmitting the FAX information when the password number coincides with the one decided in advance. CONSTITUTION:The FAX number(or telephone number) of the transmission destination and the password number decided between the transmission destination are stored by using a number input device 1 in advance. An originator calls the FAX number of the transmission destination by using the number input device 1. It is detected whether or not the transmission destination responds to the call by a line controller 6, and information to expedite the input of the password number is transmitted from a guidance information generator 8 to the transmission destination by using the line controller 6. Following that, the password number inputted by a receiver 9 is detected, and when coincidence between the password number and the one decided in advance is obtained, the FAX information is transmitted from a FAX information memory device 5 to the FAX number of the transmission destination by using a transmitter 10.
