PURPOSE: To provide a standard sample easy to produce and having excellent reproducibility when the capacity of a washing apparatus is evaluated and a method for accurately evaluating the capacity of the washing apparatus. ;CONSTITUTION: A predetermined amt. of abrasive particles with a predetermined particle size and a predetermined amt. of a predetermined oil component 5 are adapted to plate-shaped materials 8a, 8b and lap processing is applied to both materials under a predetermined pressure condition. The surfaces of the plate-shaped materials 8a, 8b are roughened, and the abrasive particles 7 and the oil component 5 are applied to the surfaces of both materials 8a, 8b. A standard sample is used to perform washing by a washing apparatus to be evaluated and a self-adhesive tape is applied to the standard sample after washing under pressure and peeled to evaluate the capacity of the washing apparatus from the amt. of the abrasive particles transferred to the self-adhesive tape from the standard sample. The oil component 5 attached to the washed standard sample is extracted with an org. solvent and the concn. of the oil component in the org. solvent is measured to evaluate the capacity of the washing apparatus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
