STORAGE TANK FOR GAS UNDER HIGH PRESSURE AND GAS STORAGE AND SUPPLY FACILITY FOR GAS UNDER PRESSURE

PURPOSE: To prevent an instantaneous pressure drop from being generated in a storage tank when low-temperature liquefied gas housed in the tank is taken out. ;CONSTITUTION: A storage tank for gas under high pressure is provided with a casing part 2B not to be insulated and an insulated casing part 2A. The two parts 2A, 2B are connected to each other by an insulated passage 18 separated from both casings, the non-insulated part 2B defines a gas space capable of limiting an instantaneous pressure drop in taking out liquid housed in the insulated part 2A in order to temporarily avoiding the response time of an external heating circuit for holding pressure. The storage tank can be used in the relief facility of a main manufacturing source of gas under high pressure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
