INFORMATION NOTICING SYSTEM FOR TOKEN BUS SYSTEM LAN

PURPOSE: To provide an information noticing system for surely transmitting information with a method for erasing the noticed information after the noticed information once turns around a logic ring and returns to a transmitting station. ;CONSTITUTION: When any data do not exist in a token frame 28 received by a station 3 and there are data to be transmitted from the station 3 to all the stations, the data are added to a token frame 29 to the next station 4, and the token frame 29 is dispatched to the next station 4 while showing that a data transmission source is the station 3 itself. When data are not the data transmitted by the present station, the station that receives the token frame fetches the data, copies the data of the token frame from the preceding station and data transmission source information into a token frame to the next station and dispatches the token frame while showing the existence of data. Since each receiving station repeats this processing, when the token frame once turns around the logic ring and returns to the transmitting station of the station 3, a token frame showing the absence of data is dispatched to the next station.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
