PURPOSE: To provide a process for the industrial production of CGTase acting at a relatively low temperature to produce CD and having broad receptor specificity. ;CONSTITUTION: This process for the production of CGTase comprises the culture of a microbial strain belonging to the genus Corynebacterium to produce CGTase and the collection of the produced CGTase from the cultured product.
