STRUCTURE-PLANE UNIT AND SINGLE LAYER DOME FRAME UTILIZING SAME

PURPOSE: To facilitate the manufacture and framing of structure-plane units by connecting the units having the same shape, and to shorten the term of work of single layer dome frame by also simplifying the connection itself of the structure-plane unit in the structure-plane units and the single layer dome frame utilizing the structure-plane units. ;CONSTITUTION: A structure-plane unit 1 is assembled by a framework 2, in which peripheral members 2a are combined and a plane regular hexagon is parted, a bundle material 3 erected at the central section of the framework 2 having the regular hexagon, and tension members 4 disposed in tension among each corner section of the framework 2 and both end sections of the upper and lower sections of the bundle material 3. An adjuster adjusting the length of the bundle material 3 and end-section hardware 3c are mounted on the bundle material 3, and turnbackles 4b adjusting the length of the tension members 4 are installed to the tension members 4. The peripheral members 2a of a plurality of the structure-plane units 1 are clamped mutually by using a clamper, and the structure-plane units 1 are connected in a honeycomb shape, thus forming a single layer dome frame.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
