PURPOSE: To make it possible to perform efficient pounding and polishing of hulled rice by imparting each induction resistor arranged on the inner surface of a pounding and polishing net incorporating a grinding roll with a pounding/ polishing function and thereby increasing a pounding and polishing accuracy with a concurrent action to induce and give resistance to hulled rice. ;CONSTITUTION: A rice polishing machine is composed of a cylindrical pounding/ polishing net 1 which incorporates a whet stone-like grinding roll mounted axially in a freely rotatable manner. Induction resistors 3 whose rotation can freely be adjusted are arranged on the inner peripheral surface the pounding/ polishing net 1, each induction resistor 3 has a slender resistance piece 3b formed in one piece on a disc 3a, and the disc 3a is of a whet stone shape.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
