The invention concerns a cultivation method and cultivation equipment for regeneration areas, in which method all the necessary work for reforestation, such as screefing, harrowing, ploughing, grassing, drainage work, etc., can be carried out using an excavator 2 and cultivation equipment 1. The cultivation equipment 1 is attached to the bucket 5 and it consists of side beams 8 which are articulated on the cross-beam 7 and to which the harrowing members 16 are secured by chains 14. The cultivation equipment 1 greatly increases the working range of the bucket 5. During transport, the side beams 8 are folded in closer to each other.
