Proportioning apparatus for feed, which exists both in a crumbly and a compression-moulded state or consists of crops (for example seeds, maize etc.), which allows the dispensed portion to be adjusted, dispensing being possible by operation of a tubular slide construction. A tubular (usually rectangular) slide upon operation shuts off the inflow of the feed in such a way that the separate feed particles always have a free space to escape to, so that seizing up owing to feed particles becoming jammed is impossible. The prepackaging of feed is thus dispensed with. The installation does not require an energy supply.
