The invention relates to a delimited space, having at least one closure which runs in a horizontal, diagonal or vertical plane with respect to the space and by means of which the size and shape of the space can be varied. Consequently, it is no longer necessary to stick to one format. The invention provides a frame structure which is simple yet universally applicable, and any desired number of frame parts can be added to the corners; these frame parts can be fitted at a variable angle with respect to one another. Some aspects of the invention are produced in the preferred embodiment of a conical teepee, in which the larger formats are suitable for relatively large groups, while the smaller model in this way becomes suitable for use as a lightweight hiking tent. A lightweight inner skeleton in the smoke flaps limits the number of poles. A horizontal storm ring provides additional strength and the possibility of attaching the inner guide, and also allows the number of poles to be limited further. A rubber lug or projection is used to hold the poles together at the top and to facilitate erection of the tent. The round groundsheet can be used as at least one rain cape and is also of adjustable dimensions in order to be adapted to the various formats, by being equipped with features making it removable.
