Hardware implementation of clipping and inter-coordinate comparison logic

An object to be displayed or subjected to block image transfer, is clipped for windowing, using comparison logic 47 between the object's coordinates (X0 - X3, Y0 - Y3) and the window's coordinates (X Clip, Y Clip). A "test" window is set up (45), surrounding the display window and its coordinates (Test X, Test Y) are also compared with the object's to signal cut-off of the need for the hardware to calculate the location of parts of the object outside the display window.
