The regulating device (A,B,C,D) automatically regulates the lamellas of a conventional villa or apartment blind, can be simple installed by a layman and requires no intervention or alterations around the window. It is connected to the blind existing regulating rod (33) and is fitted directly to the window frame (27). When the light strength during the day reaches such a level in a room that stronger light cannot be accepted, the blind lamellas are closed automatically. When the light strength drops below the quoted level, the blind re-opens. The blind lamellas open or close to the degree to which they are adjusted.
