The pair of motorcycle wheel hubs is detachable in such a way as to maximize the parts that remain permanently attached to the fork mountings and correspondingly minimize the components permanently attached to the detached wheel. Mounted inside the sprocket body on two bearings is a bush which basically acts as the fixed journal of each hub. The wheel sprocket and its bush have an axial length approximately equal to each other and to the width of the wheel and the sprocket comprises connection means, preferably female connection means, on both sides. Supporting interfaces applied to each of the components of the front forks and/or rear forks are fixed permanently to the components of the forks and equipped to give independent support to the drive and braking means and are designed to engage integrally with the wheel sprocket; these supporting means are provided with end coupling means complementary to those characterizing the wheel sprocket and designed to couple easily to these.
