A principal container 1, cooled by appropriate means, is equipped internally with one or more layers 12 to 12"' of some material capable of filtering the water for optionally purifying it, for appropriately slowing its flow and for creating an adequate thermal ballast. The water, optionally prefiltered and pretreated by suitable means 19, is on command forced through the aforesaid layers and emerges from the principal container suitably purified, mineralized or demineralized and cold. In the aforesaid layer or layers, at least one coil 37 is attached, through which a beverage can be forced for rapid cooling. In the principal container is housed a secondary container 10 into which on command water deriving from the principal container 1 can be forced and which in this secondary container is gasified by contact with CO2 introduced there by the connection with a cylinder 33 with corresponding pressure reducer 32, such that the said apparatus in question can on command also supply purified, cold, mineralized or demineralized and gasified water.
