Self-supporting pre-fabricated siphoned roadside drain cover made of glass fibre-reinforced polyester resin for directing rainwater into sewage systems

The application of the drain cover is to both rainwater and combined types of sewerage systems. Drain covers are currently made: a) with drain inlet well and partition both prefabricated in reconstituted stone with cast iron grating, with cast concrete to enable it to support its own weight; b) with drain inlet well and partition in asbestos and cast iron grating with cast concrete to enable it to support its own weight; c) entirely of self-supporting cast iron for sewerage systems serving limited areas. d) the GFRP drain cover presents the advantage of being very lightweight, exceptionally cleanly executed, visually pleasing, to the point of being street furniture, capable of withstanding the heaviest loads whilst costing no more than products of similar strength.
