Novel food for ruminants based on fibrous elements and compound feed, and process with its corresponding installation for preparation thereof

The food comprises 70-95% by weight of fibrous elements and 5-30% by weight of compound feed, with a raw fibre level of from 18-36% by weight over final dry material and a particle size of the bulky matter at between 5 and 15 mm. The process comprises: chopping the bulky element and drying it, if necessary, grinding it together with compound feed, homogenizing the mixture well and, if desired, granulating. The installation comprises: 1 chopper; 2 storage silos; 3 mill; 4 mixer; 5 granulator; 6 drier; 7 weighing hopper. Applicable to the field of the livestock industry. IMAGE
