Improvements introduced into the construction of funerary niches of the type consisting of modular concrete elements of approximately inverted U-shaped section, intended to be juxtaposed and/or superposed on one another or on the corresponding plinths to form structures or groups, characterized in that both the upper horizontal wall of the modular elements and the plinth, which form the base of the superposed niches, are divided at the top into two halves, each one of which has a slope towards the rear and two inclined and converging lateral planes that fall towards the longitudinal axial depression formed by the intersection of said planes, a general slope being thus established which falls, from any point on its surface, towards the mid-point of its rear edge, where a spout (gargoyle) is arranged which overhangs the partition that closes the niches at the back.
