In accordance with the present invention, there areprovided high molecular weight polyethylene molecularorientation molded articles formed from high molecularweight polyethylenes having a weight average molecularweight of 300,000-600,000, said molecular orientationmolded articles having a fineness of not more than 15deniers, a tensile strength of more than at least 1.7 GPaand satisfying the tensile strength S (GPa)-weight averagemolecular weight M. (g/mol)-fineness D (denier)relationship represented by the formula [I] ...[I]and processes for preparing the same.Further in accordance with the present invention,there are also provided high molecular weight polyethylenemolecular orientation molded articles formed from highmolecular weight polyethylene having a weight averagemolecular weight of exceeding 600,000 and satisfying therelationship represented by the formula [II]. ...[II]
