A pharmaceutical composition for the treatmentof chronic skin ulcers comprises as active ingredient amixture of 4-chloro-3,5-dimethylphenol and boric acid,together with a pharmaceutically acceptable carriertherefor. The composition of the invention is effectivefor clearing bacterial infection and stimulating cellgrowth.
