Use for obtaining medicaments intended for the treatment of hypertension in insulin-resistant patients, - of derivatives of formula: IMAGE in which - R is hydrogen or halogen, and - R' is: - a saturated or unsaturated C1-C5 hydrocarbon radical, or one of the radicals: -CH2COOR1, IMAGE (-CH2)nOR4 and -COOR5; (R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and n being as defined in the description), - in dextro rotary form when R' is ethyl, and in racemic and optically active form in all other cases, - as well as their physiologically tolerable salts.
