The invention relates to novel dihispidine derivatives, a process for producing them and medicaments containing these compounds. The novel methylene dihispidine derivatives may be used in the prevention and treatment of late diabetic lesions and the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis and arteriosclerosis.
