A composition for treatment by immunotherapy of cancers secreting hCG, free sub-units thereof, or fragments of these sub-units, comprises an effective amount of one of these free hCG sub-units or a polypeptide containing at least a part of the primary sequence of hCG and corresponding to an antigen responsible for an immunization state.
