A technical issue to be solved by the invention is to provide spectacles, in which end pieces exhibit an excellent inertia accommodating function and a strong frictional resistance, even when excessive exercise causes a great moving inertia to act on spectacles during wearing thereof, to prevent the spectacles from being shifted from an appropriate position on the face, thereby improving stability and stationariness of the spectacles, and which can appropriately fit to the shapes of ears and temporal portions of each person and can provide comfortableness in wearing without the need of increasing a tightening of right and left temples much. As a measure for solving the issue, the invention has a feature in employing cushioning end pieces consisting of a molded body of a synthetic resin and comprising adjustment sleeves slidably fitted on free ends of a pair of temples foldably connected to both sides of a front frame and capable of positionally moving along the peripheral surfaces of the temples, tip pads mounted to the distal ends of the temples, and bow cords connecting between the tip pads and the adjustment sleeves.
