The invention makes it possible to remove the precipitate formed in the phase separation plane (10) in a pulsed liquid-liquid extraction column. According to the invention the precipitate is extracted by means of an extraction conduit (14) opening into the lower phase separator (6) at the height of the phase separation plane (10). In conjunction with this, a make-up conduit (16) allows the dense phase (4) to be compensated in volume.
