Thermal spray material and its coated article excellent in high-temperature wear resistance and build-up resistance

A thermal spray material used to coat the roll surface which is used to carry high-temperature heat treating material within a continuous heat-treating furnace. The thermal spray material is a composite powder or a blended powder consisting of alloy particles and 5 to 50 vol. % of metal boride particles. The alloy particle contains 5 to 40 wt. % of Cr and 5 to 20 wt. % of Al, and the balance of at least one of Ni, Co and Fe.
