Mobile transceiver for wireless data and voice transmission

The mobile radio system has a radio module (1) with a baseband part and a high frequency part (1b). The module can be releasably connected to a handset to operate as a mobile telephone. Alternatively, it can be connected to a car radio (16) for operation as a car telephone or it can be connected to a mobile fax machine for facsimile operation. The handset, the car radio and the facsimile machine, all have function units which are required for operation as a mobile telephone, car telephone or mobile facsimile machine.
