A method for separating acid and salt contaminants from a gas stream exiting a dimethylcarbonate synthesis reactor

HCl and CuCl particles from the gas-vapor stream leaving the dimethylcarbonate synthesis reactor. Contaminant removal is assisted by a small amount of process fluid.
