The present invention relates to a method for producing an immobilized enzyme by adsorbing an enzyme on porous magnesium aluminum silicate and a method for producing N-carbamoyl-D-amino acid using the immobilized enzyme thus prepared. The immobilized enzyme prepared according to the present invention exhibits a very high stability of operation and exhibits a higher enzyme activity in a wider range than that of the free enzyme even in terms of its pH and temperature characteristics.
