FIELD: storage and transportation of natural gas. SUBSTANCE: set has n-number of power units operating in parallel; each unit consists of turbo-expander with synchronous generator fitted on shaft and frequency converter. Additional power unit has additional turbine connected to closed circulating loop and synchronous generator with frequency converter. Additional power unit performs recovery of thermal energy of gas from underground storage and air of surrounding medium. Mode for taking gas from underground storage is regulated by means of frequency converters of main power units controlled by the signal from flow rate regulator.
