FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: these are novel chemical compounds-derivatives of 1, 1′-binapthyl-4, 4′,, 5,5′-tetracarboxy-8,8′-disulfonic acid which allow production of respective derivatives of 3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic acid under the action of reducing agents different in activity; in this case, textile material of cellulose origin is dyed in red, violet and blue colors of various tints. Said compounds are produced by condensation of 1,1′-binapthyl-4,4′,, 5,5′-tetracarboxy-8,8′-disulfonic acid or its dianhydride with aromatic or aliphatic amines or 0-diamines in water, organic solvents or in amine medium with subsequent separation by the known methods. Derivatives of 1,1′-binapthyl-4,4′,, 5,5′-tetracarboxy-8, 8′-disulfonic acid under the effect of reducers different in their activity (rongalite, sodium dithianite, etc) are converted into respective derivatives of 3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic acid with quantitative yield up to 95-98% . In this case, higher intensity of dye fixation is attained on fiber (up to 100%) within a wide temperature range from 20 to 105 C and pH 8-14. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 tbl
