DEVICE FOR LUBRICATION OF OPEN GEAR TRAINS

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has hollow gear 1 with moisture absorbing material 2 secured on teeth working profile. Oil reservoir 3 connected with surface of teeth of gear 1 by means of radial holes 4 is located inside hollow gear 1. Cylinder 5 with longitudinal fins-blades 6 is arranged in reservoir 3 concentrically relative to gear 1. Transverse slots 7 and longitudinal slots 8 which are interconnected are made on teeth of gear 1. Auxiliary lubricating gear 1 is arranged in housing of device to which rod 9 is secured. Rod 9 has supporting bushes 10 arranged in fixed housing 11 which make it possible for lubricating device to turn under action of torque. Fitted on rod 9 is spring 12 which rests against shoulder of rod 9 and fixed housing 11, thus pressing the teeth of lubricating gear 1 in gear wheel spaces over all surfaces. During operation of device, lubricant from reservoir 3 is fed to working surfaces of teeth of hollow gear 1 through holes 4, transverse slots 7 and longitudinal slots 8 and lubricate teeth of load-bearing gear wheel through moisture absorbing material 2; lubricating gear 1 is turned due to cocking moment and is pressed in each space of gear wheel with no backlash at identical force created by spring 12, thus evenly applying lubricant over entire profile of tooth.
